Weekly Review and Update

Morning folks

Royal Ascot comes and goes in the blink of an eye and here we are done for another year. It been a hard meeting punting wise for me, like life in general for me at the moment, the feeling of treading water furiously but no damage done and tomorrow’s another day.

These Festivals are very tough & different and not the stellar profits of previous years but a few near misses with Calling The Wind, Flotus & especially Popmaster who looked all over the winner would have turned it into a cracking meeting profit wise.

The Draw has been impossible to predict and spoiled it for me as it has been hard to predict where they will race which makes form study tremendously difficult. As does playing in the stakes races as we are ALWAYS nearly close in the Handicap’s.

We had some massively punted horses on side such as Snash (14’s to 7/2) City Runner & Juan De Montalban etc but they run no sort of races for whatever reason I cannot fathom?

Still, racing and life goes on and looking ahead this morning Newmarket hosts a 3 day meeting commencing Thursday, and Chester a nice 2 day meeting (Friday/Saturday). Impossible to predict at the moment number of runners in the races etc but I will be looking to get back to the DAY job so to speak, looking at those meetings and will post out/update with any selections for Thursday on Wednesday afternoon onwards so onward & upwards.

Thanks
