Two For Tomorrow

Good evening folks

It’s going to be a tricky punting weekend by the looks of the weather forecast. A deluge of rain looks set to hit Ascot so who knows how much they get?

Haydock seems a little more settled but we shall see.

I had a look at a few races and a lot of horses are ground dependent but I am hoping the rain hits for one horse I like who is below, along with a horse up at Haydock. Back tomorrow for Saturday’s busy action.

4:10 Ascot

LOOK BACK SMILING– 3/4 Pt EW @ 14/1 Betvictor, 12/1 generally

Dark Thirty is one I’m keeping in mind after tipping him at York where he faced no chance whatsoever as we all know due to the massive track bias. Hopefully not for today though (0 from 4 at Ascot) and a horse I like who did us a turn at Doncaster early season hails from the yard of Gemma Tutty, who seems to have been struggling for a bit of form but I like this horse who will relish the stiff track and softening of the ground so it looks significant she brings him here. She has only EVER run 2 horses here gaining a winner and narrow 2nd! This is a classified event and he is well up with the ratings, even more so taking the very useful jockey’s 5lb (who is 2 wins and a head 2nd aboard him!) claim into account so at the price worth a stab to bounce back to form.

4:20 Haydock

ABDUCTION– 1/2 Pt EW @ 10/1 4 places generally

Tipped a few times, he seems to peak in the autumn months and is now back on decent mark. Shane Gray gets on very well with him and has a cracking record for the yard. Two tough races but another worth chancing.
