Morning folks
A bit of a watching brief period at the moment, some good racing but many of the horses are having there first runs of the season so trying to work out recent form is tough enough and are they fully tuned up for this time of year. That’s the challenge and the puzzle. I won’t be going mad as a result but I have had a good look at the 2 mile handicap hurdle at Ascot tomorrow and a horse I like is below. More to follow later
3:15 Ascot
RIGHTSOTOM – 1/2 Pt EW @ 12/1 4 places Corals & Lads boost, 11/1 4 places generally
Prominent racers do well in this and this likeable 5 year old jumps like a jaguar over his hurdle, fast and fluent which is valuable asset. He bolted up on his last run over hurdle in the Spring and had previously run some very good races against the likes of Lossiemouth and Zenta et al. His winning form is nothing to shout home about and no doubt he has to improve significantly but he has the capability to IMO and the manner in which he did it was very taking. The trainer has ONLY had 2 hurdle runners at Ascot, gaining a winner & 4th so it looks significant he brings this horse back in this race. All in all, lets hope he can be a front running winner for us for a change and I though worth chancing in an open race.
