AL DANCER– 1/2 Pt EW @ 22/1 Will Hill, 20/1 generally
I like Forward Plan as a horse (will keep him in mind all season) and if you recall at Aintree he should have won for us but it’s 1st time up and his style of racing doesn’t lend itself to this course especially on the good fast terrain and on handicapping terms he can’t beat the selection from 2 runs back form. Al Dancer will love getting out in front and we know he is brilliant 1st time up, winning no fewer than 7 times. He loves good ground and I like the booking of capable 7lb claimer Pritchard. The icing on the cake though is the trainer, who is in excellent form and since November 2019 has ONLY had 5 handicap chasers run here, gaining 3 winners (60% Win SR!) & a 3rd!! so at a value price worth chancing.
