Two More Tips, Sat 12th April 25

Good afternoon folks

One of the worst rides I have seen there on Love My Baie!

A couple more for tomorrow are below, along with the ones already sent and their write ups. Nothing further to follow for Saturday.

15:12 Newbury

GREAT ACCLAIM 1/2 Point Each Way @ 28/1 boosts 4 places generally

Progressive 4 year old, has won here and will put him in with Classic. Trainer likes to target a winner here and Bishop gets on tremendously well with him, recording form figures aboard of 1,1,1,2,1,3 over this 1 mile trip. Well drawn, first time up in a tough race, but at the price worth chancing.

16:54 Newbury

SWEET REWARD 3/4 Point Each Way @ 16/1 Bet365 5 places, 14/1 5 Sky, 16/1 generally

Goes well fresh and may need a little juice in the ground but he has plenty of good, classy form on Gd to firm and interestingly he was 2nd in this race last year off a 9lb higher mark (87). He cantered into the lead that day before being nailed by a progressive 4 year old. There are a few in here today but he loves this C & D, the trainer/jockey combo are in red hot form and he goes today off just 78 so with the generous place terms on offer, although early doors, I feel he can run a cracker at his favourite haunt

15:12 Newbury

CLASSIC 1.25 Point Win @ 10/1 Paddy Power, 9/1 generally

Tipped a couple of times last season, most notably when desperately unlucky for us at Sandown. Now gelded, his trainer feels that could be the making of him and a recent racecourse gallop here has reportedly taken the fizz out of him. Well weighted, has some strong course form so if ready, should go close on handicapping terms.

14:15 Ayr

DYSART ENOS 3/4 Point Win @ 9/1 Bet365, 8/1 generally drifting

OOH BETTY 1/2 Point Each Way @ 22/1 Bet365 4 places, 20/1 4 places generally

My race but this is fiendishly tough, especially at this time of year with the drying ground. Dysart Enos will WIN if reproducing her Greatwood from from Cheltenham and looks to have been laid out for this given the yards brilliant record with their hurdlers here. Since November 2016, they have run just 15 here achieving an astounding 8 winners (53.33% strike rate) 11 placers!! and even better when using this jockey they are 2 from 3 and a 2nd!! If back to her previous form goes close. Mares have a good record in this so along with Dysart, I will go with the other in Ooh Betty who will relish the fast pace on this ground and should go very well for another in form yard who, when using jockey Ben Jones, boast a near 30% win record over hurdles and Jones is 5 wins, 7 places from 13 aboard her which improves to 3 from 7, 4 places at this 2 mile distance.

13:10 Ayr

MALYSTIC 3/4 Point Win @ 14/1 Lads boost, 12/1 boosts & 11’s generally

Win only now but he is very well handicapped against many of these he has beaten on old form and has been shaping better than the bare results all season. The stable had been out form but are now firing and this race must have been his target. He is a win in this very race 2 years back and has has finished a short head 2nd over C & D on his ONLY other effort so he clearly loves the Scottish Ayr and if bringing that form goes close.

15:35 Ayr

SURREY QUEST 3/4 Point Win @ 12/1 Lads, 11/1 generally

FLASH DE TOUZAINE 3/4 Point Each Way @ 33/1 Lads boost, 28/1 Hills/Unibet boosts 6 places, 28/1 generally

Last years agonising second has surely had this as his target all year and if repeating that effort goes very close. Last time out winners have a great record in this and Flash De Touzaine is one of only 3 qualifiers on that score. There is more to his chance though as he is near Top RPR after and impressive win last time and was a running on strongly after being hampered 3rd in this 2 years ago off a 4lb higher mark. If anywhere near that form he goes very well also.
