Good morning folks
A few more for today, along with the ones already sent who have drifted and BOG. Back later for Epsom’s opening meeting if anything can be found.
14:05 Fairyhouse
KOOL ONE – 1/2 Point Each Way @ 8/1 5 places generally
Tipped at Cheltenham at a massive price, was going well when unseating and I think he can go well here for local connections who would surely love a winner here.
15:50 Fairyhouse
FEET OF A DANCER – 1/2 Point Each Way @ 7/1 B.O.G 4 places generally
Another tipped at Cheltenham, got caught too far back on faster ground. The soft ground is in her favour today and although she is the lowest rated in the field, this smooth traveller get a 10lb pull with the favourite who could be anything so I though worth chancing.
16:50 Redcar
FLAMBOROUGH HEAD – 1 Point Win @ 9/2 B.O.G Hills boost, 4/1 BOG generally
Impressive over C & D last time when easily beating a few reopposing here. The penalty shouldn’t stop him and if in the same form goes close.
16:05 Kempton
TIGER CRUSADE – 3/4 Point Each Way @ 18/1 Hills boost, 16/1 normal, 16/1 4 places generally
Loves this C & D and should have won here 3 runs back, The trainer is on fire and has a superb record when putting Callum Shepherd up at this venue. They are a remarkable 6 from 11 (55% Win SR) and 7 placers in handicaps together past 3 seasons. This should be run at a good clip and he does need to leave his last 2 runs behind but if reproducing his previous course form goes very close.
17:00 Fairyhouse
KINTURK KALANISI – 3/4 Point Win @ 11/1 Lads, 10/1 generally
ANOTHER CHOISE – 1/2 Point Each Way @ 66/1 6 places generally
This horse was second to Three Card Brag in a beginners’ chase at Navan in January when he finished ahead of Scottish National winner Captain Cody and the aforementioned Now Is The Hour, the seven-year-old catching the eye with the way he travelled.
That marked him out as a novice to watch out for in handicaps and he duly went off 5/1 for the Leinster National at Naas in early March, where he was going the best when brushing through the top and unseating his jockey two from home.
I think he would’ve probably won and he gets in this off the same mark, while the excellent Darragh O’Keeffe takes over from a 7lb claimer in the saddle.
His stamina is an unknown, but he shapes like he wants a trip and he had good big field form from his handicap hurdle days at Punchestown, so he is expected to take to the test well.
A neck second at Fairyhouse in December, he’s got the course form, too, and looks a potentially well-treated novice that’s worth chancing.
I will throw in Another Choice at a massive price who is nicely weighted and was a narrow 2nd over C & D in a good handicap on his last run.
