On a tough day, I will chance this fellow at a big price. It is his first run after a break for his new trainer so could need this but this horse is a Class 2 animal at best and there was enough reason to chance him in this. Firstly, he absolutely bolted up over C & D last year, travelling strongly. That was off a mark of 117 and he is a 1lb lower than for that in this and that looks significant. In fact, very impressively, from 117 and below he has returned the form line of 1,3,1,1,1,1,2,2,1!! Also, the stylish William Maggs take his mark down to effectively 111 with his 5lb claim and he rides this hurdles track very well indeed so well worth seeing him go in this I felt.

Ties in very closely with Group 1 horses, including Big Mojo who was just denied in one last week for us! A very smooth, strong traveller, there looks a strong pace on in this (hopefully) and he looks well drawn to track that. 3 year old’s have a great record in this and he is the ONLY one so in a sprint division devoid of any real stars, although a tough race, we are getting a price and well worth chancing IMO.
