Good Afternoon folks
I have had a good look at the Doncaster Day 1 card and to be honest they are not my type of races with too much guesswork and just the one all aged handicap which has been dominated by 3 year old guessers who receive lumps of weight at that distance. Straight course handicaps (most of the nurseries and stakes races tomorrow will be massively determined by draw?) I may tighten up on going forward/next season as draw is key/too unpredictable unlike round a bend. The BHA have have ruined racing with so much happening on Saturday’s also. The last race and the Portland at Donny, like the Derby etc, used to be midweek and I enjoyed a lot of success in them back then in midweek.
One I will chance at a price tomorrow though, who I think is improving rapidly for a trainer I like with his British raiders and is well in at the weights given ratings is below. Needs to improve again but at the price worth finding out.
Back throughout the Day tomorrow with any Friday selections and a reminder that the Saturday’s selections (Sunday I never seem to do any good for whatever reason and I see Hugh Taylor is giving Sat/Sunday a miss after 20 years tipping which tells a story) may/probably will be limited due to my birthday away with loved ones.
