The card at Cheltenham has badly cut up runner wise which is disappointing but a first selection for tomorrow is below, possibly more to follow later.

Lightly weighted younger horses do well in this race and I like this improving, strong travelling 8 year old who warmed up for this with a nice effort at Carlisle before getting tired. He ran a cracker last season on this ‘New’ course at the track over the trip behind Ga Law and this looks to have been the plan. The trainer is in cracking form, 4 of his last 8 winning and he has a good record when putting Twiston Davies up, especially in chases. It’s forecast to hammer down tomorrow (typical!) and it’s impossible at times, especially as a tipster, to judge in advance, but this lad won’t mind what the weather does and this prominent racer can go very well from the foot of the weights.
