NIKOVA– 1/2 Pt EW @ 12/1 4 places generally
Loves this C & D and is very nicely weighted with his rivals whom he has met a few of previously. Smooth traveller, the move of yard seems to have worked the oracle, as has being ridden by the Top jockey at Newcastle, Paul Mulrennan, who bolted up on him LTO. A reproduction of several of his runs, especially the last sees him go very well in this all be it in a very competitive race IMO (Symbol of Light was tipped last time)

MOONSPIRIT– 1 Pt Win @ 5/1 generally
Ultra consistent, never seems to run a bad race and I can see her outstaying the smooth travelling favourite. She is a strong stayer so this drop in trip over this stiff 7 shouldn’t be a problem hopefully? She is well drawn compared to the fav and the icing on the cake was the remarkable record of the trainer/jockey combo at this track, especially over the 7F C & D. They have teamed up just 15 times, knocking in 7 winners (46% SR) 10 placers which improves to 5 from the last 7 with the last 3 winning on the bounce. Worth backing at a value price.

DARK MOON RISING– 1 Pt EW @ 5/1 4 places Skybet, 6/1 generally
Has some strong form and seems to like the AW. His Southwell win (very hot form) has worked out ridiculously well with the 2nd & 3rd that day hosing up next time! He came cantering over C & D LTO when compromised by being in the middle of the track. Winning jockey reunited, for a stable on fire, must surely go well here and should be the proverbial EW bet to nothing given the place terms!
