OOH BETTY– 1/2 Pt EW @ 16/1 Hills boost, 14/1 BOG & drifting generally
Mullins has had a few notable shorties trounced on these shores of late so I will take a chance on the consistent Ooh Betty. Although handicap form, hers against the boys is very strong and her prominent style of racing we have seen is well served here. The trainer and jockey have teamed up superbly of late, knocking in 4 winners,a 2nd & 3rd from their last 8 together and Jones is 2 from 3 aboard her! She needs to step up on ratings on paper but she is 2nd in on RPRs and improving so at the prices, worth chancing back against her own sex.

XCITATIONS– 1 Pt Win @ 8/1 Hills, 15/2 generally (may get BOG or bigger when all books priced up)
As I said when tipped last time, no doubt 2nd & 3rd time out is the time to catch this horse. His mark has dropped to a generous looking 125 and again, over 2 miles from a mark of 128 and below he is 4 wins from 6. Soft, sticky ground is the only concern but I have to chance him again off an 9lb lower mark than for his last win.

NINTH LOCK– 3/4 Pt Win @ 12/1 Bet365, 8/1 drifting generally
A total unknown and could blow out but the trainer is mustard with his 1st time handicappers, achieving an unbelievable 50% Win SR with them!! This horse is unknown but I like he pitches him here as he go from the front and he ran Stayers Hurdle hope for us (tipped at Newbury when given a shocker) The Wallpark to ¾ of a length when trained in Ireland. In a wide open race I thought worth chancing.
