Speculative but at the price there was enough for me to worth chancing at big odds. The trainer could have opted for the Mares race but must think she can go well in this to sacrifice what would have been an excellent winning chance. Firstly, she is a very strong traveller that loves this course (form figures 1,1,3) and this should be run to suit. She has beaten Brighterdaysahead over C & D at the Festival last year and to my eye watching it was fair and square. She has beaten doubtful stayer Burdett Road on a speed track last time that wouldn’t have suited and with doubts over Constitution Hill (the winner easily on his best form) are we to believe the rumours he has returned in that same form? I’ll pay to find out.
