Good afternoon folks

One further selection for Friday as below. I am reluctantly leaving out Majestic & Dual Identity as not much juice in their respective prices and quite frankly I didn’t know what to do/how to back the pair? and I am hoping for other days with both?

I shall stick with the original selection who has been massively punted.

Back throughout the day tomorrow with Saturday’s selections

5:45 Epsom

MARLAY PARK– 1 Pt Each way @ 7/1 & 13/2 bog 4 places generally

Boasting course form figures of 2212121, it is difficult to imagine this five-year-old being too far away and he looked to be running into form at Goodwood last Friday when getting behind before staying on well into fifth behind Ropey Guest.

This race is bound to have been the target for both his local to the track trainer (loves his winners here) and Marlay Park himself.

He is only 1lb higher than when beating the fast finishing Hodler over this course and distance on the second of their clashes last September and granted luck in the run must surely be on the premises at the very least and can shock the always well fancied, sexy 3 year old types.

3:45 Epsom

TOSHIZOU– 3/4 Pt Each way @ 20/1 Skybet 4 places, 18/1 Will Hill 4, 16/1 4 places generally

The son of Galileo is starting to look seriously well handicapped and we all know what his father did at this track! His Dam is out of Invincible Spirit and he too was renowned for enjoying these quirky, undulating tracks so I am hopeful Toshizou too follows in their footsteps and enjoys this track. He has a nice draw to finish strong and wide from stall 7 and Hollie Doyle rides the ‘Downs’ well. She also has a cracking 2 year record for trainer Roger Fell (wouldn’t run many here) boasting a superb 3 winners from 8 runners (37.5 % Win SR) 4 placers! So all in all it is not hard for me to envisage that this has been Toshizou’s big early season target and I think he can go very well!
