The Week Ahead

Good morning folks

A cracker of a day, near +30 points profit! I was near my life changing win with 3 winners and 2 seconds!

The main fancy Dual Identity bolted up. If the handicapper doesn’t overreact he must surely go close in the Cambridgeshire, a race he was narrowly denied in last year like yesterday’s contest. Hope you had enough on!

The only disappointment (and I nearly went win each Hodler/Master Zoffany 🙁 was Hodler. My write up’s and reasoning for ALL selections was good and proved correct but the change of jockey, given what I had said, couldn’t have helped. I’m a big fan of constants in this game to sustain long term profits.

We were on 3 big gambles, two obliged and I thought Park Street was a comfortable winner. I would have put good money 1 furlong out that King Cabo (smashed into 7/2 Fav from 20’s) would outstay Maywake but he strangely weakened. The jockey was asleep in the stall IMO and he should have sat where Maywake did as this horse ALWAYS makes the running which he didn’t here?

Spring Bloom was beaten by a freak performance but again he has never not placed in Class 4 events and ran well, beating the rest comfortably.

All in all, an excellent enjoyable day and a great start to the month.

This week’s racing is the usual average stuff. Friday sees Ascot and Haydock start 2 day meetings and it this juncture, there are a couple of nice races on the Friday I shall look at. The we move onto the usual busy quality action on Saturday.

I’m off for some well earned sun and relaxation this week so with that, I will be back late Thursday afternoon with any Friday selections I fancy but if I can’ find any, I will update with a mail accordingly.
