Morning folks
A cracking couple of days with 2 nice winners in Zoffee & Pickanumber both scoring and making up for last weekend. Zoffee was given a cracking ride and Harry Davies nearly repeated the dose for us at Lingfield. I don’t think it was his fault but had the horse stayed straight she would have surely won and made for an even better day.
The flat has not really floated my boat as of yet and I cannot believe how slowly the races are being run which makes for sprint finishes and strange results. Form goes out the window to an extent when that happens.
Pearle Dor was massively punted and travelled well but the jockey went to the unfavoured part of the track and he finished unplaced. He will go well back at that track later in the season.
A good weekend and on we go. It is York’s Dante three day meeting commencing Wednesday. Some cracking action and the weekend is also good so I will be back with any Day 1 selections early evening onwards on Tuesday.
