A cracker of a meeting, near +40 points profit which is a great return. To come out of a meeting like that with ANY semblance of a profit is some going as it’s supremely tough.
I saw Paul Kealy of the Racing Post state he had a disaster, near 50 points down which I couldn’t imagine how he’s feeling.
Khaadem was a cracking winner for us yesterday and Glenfinnan and Black Run both ran well. I will definitely be keeping my eye on Torivega though as he was punted but couldn’t get a clean run. He is a 4 year old that WILL definitely pay his way for us.
It could have been a massive meeting for us with just a little more rub of the green. I had some massive priced 2nds & 3rds and we all know the win part makes the difference but who else can unearth so many of these types to go to war with?
Anyway, we move on and it’s back to earth with a bump this week after such a feast so I will recover and get ready to go again for the weekend. I will be back next throughout the day on Friday with selections for Saturday’s action where we see nice looking cards at Chester, Newmarket & Northumberland Plate Day on an All Weather card at Newcastle.
