Good evening folks
A further play for Tuesday, along with the race already sent. Rain looks like playing a big part at Epsom where I would have been strong on Scampi but no bet given the doubt/1st time out/drop back in trip? He will be one to side with this season I feel though. Back Tomorrow with an update for Day 2 of Punchestown.

THE MODEL KINGDOM– 3/4 Pt Win @ 8/1 B.O.G generally
The Model Kingdom had never finished out of the first three before Cheltenham and I’m willing to draw a line through that run on her return to her favourite stamping ground.
The six-year-old landed a Grade 3 mares’ bumper at Punchestown a year ago and has produced her two top performances on Racing Post Ratings at the track, including an excellent second to Impaire Et Passe two starts back. That looks brilliant form in the context of this race by dint of the winner’s subsequent runaway success in the Ballymore.

TAX FOR MAX– 3/4 Pt Each way @ 16/1 5 places Bet365, 14/1 William Hill 5 places, 12/1 6 & 5 places generally
TELECON– 3/4 Pt Win 14/1 & 12/1 generally
Tax For Max loves this track with 2 smooth wins and a 3rd in this very race last year, when, ridden by Daryl Jacob who gets back on him, he looked all over the winner before getting in tight to the last hurdle and conceding the run on the two late finishers. A reproduction of that form sees him go very close!
Telecon is an improving 6 year old who fairly bolted up LTO in a quick time. Fairyhouse handicap wins have been a good guide to this and he too looked worthy of support.
