Two further selections for Tomorrow. Nothing more to follow for Saturday.
3:15 Haydock
SPIKE JONES– 3/4 Pt EW @ 11/1 Paddy Power 4 places, 10/1 4 generally
Won very well LTO, despite a troubled trip. Jockey Ned Fox, who does the steering again, is 1 from 1 aboard him and is 2 from 3 ALL Time in 3 mile handicap hurdles for the yard so I thought he was worth a bet at the prices.
6:45 Wolverhampton
WHATS IN THE BAG– 2 Pt Win @ 7/2 Bet365, 3/1 generally
Looks well handicapped, he was backed into favouritism on his third start for new connections at Lingfield earlier this month, he could only finish second, but he didn’t get the clearest run through, still on the bridle more or less entering the straight and having to switch for a run which lost momentum before flying home. He did well to get up for second, while his performance can also be upgraded when taking sectionals into account, running the final two furlongs over half a second quicker than the winner who had a perfect run. The yard have a near 27% SR in handicaps at this track and Sean Levey is 2 from 3 for the yard! This is his ONLY ride on the card so I expect he is out to make up for last time and I expect him to go very close indeed.
